New Trier students had a wonderful time meeting one last time with our peers from Kelvyn Park and Richard T. Crane Medical high schools. Here was a breakdown of our time talking about educational inequity in the state of Illinois at the Hairpin Arts Center.
- 10:00 - 10:30: icebreaker activities
- 10:30 - 12:00: students present and report back their efforts at base-building
- 12:00 - 12:30: pizza lunch
- 12:30 - 2:00: students were joined by Illinois State Representative Will Guzzardi (D) and State Senator Daniel Biss (D) for conversations regarding our next steps for action
